You can say anything you want as long as it starts with "We are.." and meets the rest of our Submission Guidelines. But if you're looking for inspiration, here are some ideas to get you started:

Arts
We Are... Actors, singers, dancers, artists... creativity is not bounded by sexual orientation. If you can get a photo of you participating in your artistic endeavor, that would be terrific.

Community
We Are... Your friends, your co-workers, your neighbors... take a photo to show people that we are everywhere.

Ethnicity
We Are... Black, white, Asian, Native American... we come in all colors. Let's prove that to the world.

Family
We Are... Brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, sons, daughters... showing that we are part of the family can go a long way toward gaining acceptance. If you can get your relatives to appear in the photo with you, that's even better.

Geographical
We Are... Californians, Iowans, Floridians, New Yorkers, New Orleanians... we would love to get at least one photo from every state in the union and from cities and towns from around the country. If you can, take your picture with an identifiable landmark in the background like the Statue of Liberty or the "Welcome to.." your state or town sign.

Hobbies
We Are... Gardners, knitters, book lovers... what do you like to do in your spare time? This is a great way to show common ground.

Making a Statement
We Are... Equal, just like you, everywhere, mad as hell and not going to take it anymore... if you have something to say, here's your chance.

Occupations
We Are... Doctors, lawyers, teachers, truck drivers, waiters... this is a great way to get people to realize that not all gay people are hairdresses and florists. Although if you're a hairdresser or florist, we want to hear from you too! If you can, get a picture of you at work, but WITHOUT your company name or logo visible.

Physical Attributes
We Are... Tall, short, fat, skinny, muscular, old, young, differently abled... we come in all shapes, sizes, and ages.

Politics
We Are... Democrats, Republicans, Independents, voters... we don't care who you vote for... well, we do a little... but in this particular forum, as long as you believe in equal rights for all people regardless of sexual orientation, you're welcome here.

Religion
We Are... Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Atheist... no matter what your beliefs we want to show that there are people in the gay community with strong religious identities.

Social Issues
We Are... Environmentalists, activists, "Walking for the Cure," committed to education, helping the homeless... what is your passion? Take a picture that shows you involved in your community.

Sports
We Are... Football players, bowlers, golfers, surfers... get a picture of you taking part in your favorite sport or activity. Bonus points if you can get your whole team in the picture!

Straight
We Are... Not threatened by gay marriage, believers in equal rights, friends of the gay community... The more people we have on the side of equal rights the better.

Now, go take your picture and when you're done...
